All procedures, from regular inspections of the mares, stallion selection, insemination to foaling, are daily routine for our team, especially between January and July. Nevertheless, our team never loses sight of detail and takes great care of the mares entrusted to us. The Krohn stable is supplied by his long-standing business partner Joachim Tietz, who is knowledgeable in Holstein riding horse breeding, with excellent quality frozen semen from well-known stallions, such as e.g. Diamant de Semilly, Cornet Obolensky, Nabab de Reve, Kannan supplied. But fresh semen can also be obtained at any time. The semen is produced successfully and with exceptional commitment from veterinarian Dr. Toralf Didik - Year-round mare boarding, incl. taking over all organizational measures, such as administration of worming treatments, appointments with the blacksmith, care during foaling (video-monitored foaling boxes with 24-hour birth announcement), veterinary control appointments, etc.
- Foal registration/ presentation of the Holsteiner Verband directly on the premises of the Krohn stable
- Measures to market your horse and access to our worldwide network of sales and training stables etc.

On our large marsh meadows in Dithmarschen, safely fenced in with wood, our mares and their foals enjoy all-day exercise in summer. The daily control of the horses and our pastures is a matter of course for us. This enables us to discover irregularities early and act immediately if necessary. Well-tended, well-vegetated pastures offer the mares a good basic supply.
On our large marsh meadows in Dithmarschen, safely fenced in with wood, our mares and their foals enjoy all-day exercise in summer. The daily control of the horses and our pastures is a matter of course for us. This enables us to discover irregularities early and act immediately if necessary. Well-tended, well-vegetated pastures offer the mares a good basic supply.
During the winter months your horse is housed in clean and modern boxes. For sufficient exercise with the greatest possible safety, especially in the last weeks before foaling, we provide paddocks as well as a small and a large exercise hall, with joint-gentle mudflats, in which a dry run is guaranteed even in bad weather.
