Portrait of the licensed young Holsteiner stallion “CoCafino”
Today we would like to present you our freshly licensed young Holsteiner stallion “CoCafino” by Cornet Obolensky from the unforgettable “Verona XIII“ (Carthago – Corofino I – Calypso I).
The mother “Verona XIII” was born in 2005 in the case of Gert Jan Brunink from Bedum (NL) and came 2008 from the Netherlands to our stable, where we have used her as a broodmare. She gave us nine foals, such as:
2009 “Quickborn 7” by Quidam de Revel
• Approved stallion by AES
• Until 2016 he was presented by Carina Hindelang in show jumping competitions up to 140 cm
2010 “Gray Storm” by Diamant de Semilly
• Until 2019 he was presented by Chimirri Vincenzo in show jumping competitions up to 145 cm
2011 “Gracia” by Quidam de Revel
• Until 2018 she was successful in jumping competitions up to 135 cm
2014 “Zero 24” by Zandor Z
• 2019 in the final at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf with Teike Carstensen, 8th place
• Under Jana Wargers victorious in 135 cm show jumping competitions
• Presented by Jana Wargers, Daniel Deusser and Michael Hughes in show jumping competitions up to 140 cm
Unfortunately “Verona XIII” died after a short illness in the beginning of 2020 before the birth of her 10th foal by Dominator Z.
The mother of our young stallion comes from the Holstein line 7299, which was bred in Wiemerstedt by Gerd Hansen for several years.
In this line two mares are of particular importance. First, the mare “Vanessa“, born 1983 and second, the mare “Zukunft“, born 1985 both by Caletto II out of “Orgesch” from Calypso I. The mare “Vanessa” is the mother of the stallions “Indoctro I and II“. “Indoctro I” was a very popular stallion for several years in the Netherlands at the VDL Stud, Wiebke van de Lageweg.
The mare “Zukunft” is amongst others mother of the mare “Eira” (by Alcatraz), who covered by Lasino produced “Lord Luis” with which Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst and Lars Nieberg were able to win several jumping competitions with heights of 160 cm.
His father of “CoCafino” is the world-famous „Cornet Obolensky” (Clinton – Heartbreaker – Randel Z). Click here to learn more about “Cornet Obolensky“.
