What do I have to do when faced with a burn, a tick bite or poisoning? And above all: How can I help others in an emergency? The “Luftrettungszentrum Christoph 29” Hamburg e.V. and K&L Verlag have set themselves the task of providing child-friendly answers to these questions and have published an easy-to-understand coloring and work book for girls and boys of primary school age. The Krohn stable thinks: This is a very good idea!
That is why we are supporting the project for the third time:
The book with lots of pictures to be colored playfully conveys the skills to be able to provide first aid in emergencies. It is about the siblings Mario and Olivia, who lead together with their dachshund Waldi through various episodes. On 32 pages they give tips and advice on burns, heat stroke, tick bites, poisoning or shocks. In this way, the children receive age-appropriate knowledge so that they can behave correctly in an emergency and call for help. At the same time, educators and parents can discuss and practice the illustrations with their children.
With the support of many local companies, the coloring books and work books can be distributed free of charge to primary school children in the southern part of Dithmarschen. A commitment that the Krohn stable is very happy to join again this year.
